
Alejandro Reyes-Valdés
Pianista | MéxicoBorn in Saltillo, this musician has a very large education as a pianist, director and vocal coach. Some of his teachers were Gerardo González Guerrero, Guadalupe Parrondo, Teresa Rodríguez and Enrique Patrón de Rueda. He has sung in different orchestras around the country and has performed in Bellas Artes Palace with the Desert Philharmonic Orchestra, he has also directed this orchestra. He has been active in Mexico as well as in Cuba and Costa Rica. He has played in Sonora Alfonso Ortiz Tirado Festival, Sinaloa Arts Festival, Coahuila Julio Torri Festival and Holguín Romerías in Cuba. He directed the Opera Workshop in Sinaloa. He is recognized for his role as the artistic and music director in Puccini´s Il Trittico to commemorate a hundred years on stage. In 2018 he was nominated along with Alejandra López-Fuentes to the Auditory Lunas awards for Maja. Nowadays he is the first pianist of the Desert Philharmonic Orchestra and director of Coro Vox Amoris y Coahuila Opera Study.
