Carlos Celdrán

He lives and works in La Habana as theatre director, dramaturge, academic and teacher; he is a winner of several awards. It has a master in Scenic Arts granted by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de España. In 1996 he founded Argos Teatro and he has directed and produced several plays with it, like works from Brecht, Beckett, Ibsen, Strindberg, among other classic authors who are very popular among Cuban dramaturges. This fusion it´s what has inspired Celdrán to become one of the most important Cuban exponents of theatre. One of his most remarkable works is Ten Millions which has been award in Cuba and in other countries. Celdrán has won Crítica de Teatro Cubano Award for the best staging more than twenty times.
