She is a teacher in theatre advanced studies in De la Rioja International University, in Spain. She is a professor in dramatic composition and dramaturgy in UNAM and ENAT, as well as the founder of BarCo Drama. In 2017 she won Juan Ruíz de Alarcón National Award for her career and contributions to Mexican theatre, being the 5th woman to receive this award in 30 years. Her works were premiered in different places of Mexico, the United States and Europe; and they have been translated to English, Portuguese, Galician and French. She has been a member of SNCA and FONCA and resident writer in New York, Spain, Singapore and London Royal Court Theatre. She is the first Latin-American writer resident in Sun Yat-Sen University, in China.
