Interactive installation: Traces / Faces

This interactive installation made up of a video mapping seeks to show the possibilities of facial detection algorithms that analyze existing databases on social networks, as well as highlight the classification processes that automatically make increasingly accurate estimates on data such as age, gender and even emotions. The video mapping will be projected on the façade of the University of Guanajuato and will be complemented with the pixel mapping technique on each of the 84 steps. The mapped video and the lighting placed on the staircase will be a real-time visualization of an artificial intelligence algorithm analyzing the characteristics of photographs of the face that the participants can take in two ways:

On site, by means of a module that has a camera capable of being activated with the proximity of the face.

Through a web page enabled to take a photograph and send it in real time to the facility.
