There are not many groups in Latin America that want to play ancient national music. Música Ficta is a Colombian group founded in 1988 who honors, throughout representation and reappropriation, the most ancient but also forgotten music in Latin America. The importance of its work it´s based on the respect they feel towards the bond between music and poetry, because even though we know that these two things usually complete each other we don't always realize it when we listen to a melody.
